Alastair has orchestrated over 100 film, TV and video game projects including Wonder Woman, Harry Potter, The Martian, Downton Abbey and Doctor Who. He regularly collaborates with some of the leading media composers working today.

Alastair orchestrated and conducted the complete TV series of Downton Abbey and all three movies. He appeared in the first film as the conductor Beaumont Masters at the Ball for King George V and Queen Mary before returning, this time without hairpiece, in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale!
